Tired ....

.... and grumpy.
I'll give it a bit of a rest until I feel bloggy again.
But, Zoomie, the furry girls DID speak to us, though not each other for a couple of days.
No Italian leather collars and no fancy glass dinner bowls either!

Monday, April 25

It rained all day again today ...

... I feel an ennui coming on.

Saturday, October 2

New pen ...

... not enough to bring me out of my present funk, but it's lightened it a bit.
Think Gatsby Roadster from the Pear Tree Pen Company. O, and if you like nice ink, Noodler's is a good place to start.Highly recommended, pen and company.

My mojo ...

.., joie de vivre, whatever, has gone missing.
Will return on it's return.
Recommend against holding of breath!

Sunday, March 7

Even a kitten update ...

... from the breeder has failed to boost the mood. All I can think about now is WHEN WILL SHE BE MINE?? (Ours, yes, I know, ours).
Turns out April 10!

Missing my joie de vivre ...

... I hate when this happens, this sudden onset blues.
I've lost motivation, fun, appetite, bladyblabla.
It's not helping that it's hot and humid.Cruising for pictures of Spring is not making things better.Coming across pictures of Small, actually makes things worse. The round of intense retail therapy I underwent this week has not helped either.
I really, really need for (a) it to cool the fuck down and get on with autumn already (b) for Mr Brown to spend a weekend at home now and again. Pathetically, things get done when he's there doing or helping alongside.
Bah.

Monday, January 11

Today I went slightly ape shit ...

... horrid day at work (fingers crossed only a week to go) not at all assisted by my, franky hysterical, worrying about something that might happen.
Might happen, might not, probably won't, but still might. And, if it does happen, omyomyomy whatamIgoingtodo????? The sort of worrying that has one googling pointlessly, confirming only your worst fears. And it doesn't help that Mr Brown tends to try to put a positive spin on these things, because the lunatic is an optimist!! I know, how on earth did worse-case-secnario pesamist moi get hitched to him?? Polar opposites, I've said it before.
And so, I was tense to Mr Brown on the phone on the way home and wept and wrung my hands when I got home and .... well as I said. Pointless waste of time worrying.
So, I went outside and took some macro shots of my favourite neighbourhood bees who, at this time of night, obligingly sit still(ish) for the camera.

Mr Brown says ...

... self diagnosis of your mental health via the intertubes is a form of insanity.
