A whole bunch of pen orders arrived today ...

... one of these. One of these. One of these. One of these. And one of these.
The last one, in ivory, is particularly lovely to hold (the others are just fun, for work, I don't use taxpayer provided pens, they are crap). I'll have to come up with a very nice ink indeed for that one.
Tomorrow, a visit to the pen shop at the QVB for some inks, perhaps some scented ones that actually work!r

Nope, I'm all out. I used all the ones I had for me & the furry girls (totally fucking excellent ideas btw). He's a total bastard to pressie for, it's so rude, given all the help I give him!

Question:
How do you keep colleagues from walking off with your fabulous pens???

Enjoy!

He'd like a sixpack.

Lee, you may not believe it but I've a bit of a reputation for being one scary lady. Nobody would dare walk off with one of my nice pens, they fear my wrath!
Cookie, hmmm, he may end up with one if he won't help out with ideas!

Well, young lady, I hope you're happy. I clicked on those links, and now I'm buying a fountain pen. The first one, the AG Spalding pen with the medium nib. It looks so comfortable, and the medium nib sold me. Actually, I used fountain pens when I was in school all the time and lost the habit once I went to college, but I loved them. Recently I've been scouring stores for a fountain pen that inspires me but had yet to find it. Thanks!

I share your pen fetish, although I must admit I don't actually write much these days - typing has taken over.

Lee - you've never heard me curse have you? :)
E - Oooo exciting get some Noodler's Ink too, you could spend hours picking ink colours *sigh*. I think this counts as "good influence" and I am, therefore, most please with myself indeed.
Zoomie, I write heaps - notes when going through files, notes when listening to recordings, notes to remind myself :) I type a lot too but actually prefer handwriting (even if nobody, including myself, can read 1/2 of it later).

LOL you should be pleased. Noodler's Ink, huh? Ok, will check it out. Thanks!
