Oh, dear. My heart goes out to you today and for a long while to come. Is Ping lost without her buddy?

Have heart, my love. You did a good thing.

(I had a dog I nicknamed Pootbag.)

So sorry, sending you courage.

Beautiful slideshow and tribute.
Please except our sympathies on the passing of your lovely Small.
It is not easy to bear the responsibilities of the human in the pet relationship at the end of life.
Sending you, Mr. Brown and Ping hugs and love...

Oh sweetheart, I am crying with you. What a wonderful life she had with you, and what a gift she was, and always will be. My love to you all.

Thank you all, it's a saddness we'll get over, except for the Small-sized hole she's left.
She was a lovely, if naughty (we remembered how many things she'd smashed in her youth, including 3 coffee makers), part of our family for so long it was a terrible shock to realise she wouldn't last forever. You know they don't but you just put that knowledge out of mind.
Ping is fine, if STARVING. I guess we should have known where the stuff Small wasn't eating went, but just didn't give it a thought. So Ping is now a pudding on a diet, and hating it very much indeed.

Oh dear, poor Ping!
Please don't tell Ping, but your last sentence made me laugh out loud. I don't know anyone - man or beast -who likes a diet.
All the best

Lee, I won't tell & she can't read. Your moment of mockery is safe :)

Well, you think Ping can't read...
