... it's been raining pretty much non-stop for the past couple of days *sighs*.
AND it's been bloody cold too boot, so I've not really felt like standing out in the rain under an umbrella hand-feeding a possum.
But I couldn't NOT feed him. So I've been preparing little bowls of delicious fruits and veggies and leaving them out on the arbor seat. This this evening it was apple, carrot, capsicum and tomato. Of course, because of the cold, I'm wondering out loud if Mr Possum would appreciate some nice hot porridge.
I know he's been coming down for the snackies, because the dish is "empty like an ... empty thing" as Mr Brown announced the other morning (he's not at his best first thing, bless). Also, I've spotted him out the window and dashed out into the rain to say hello.
I'm pathetic, I know.
And THIS is why you don't mess with Mr Poss.

Luckily, he has a warm fur coat for the cold days.
and those are retracted claws.
Zoomie, yes that is a mighty fine, plush fur coat he's wearing. Quite the dandy.
S, indeed they are, a bit like cats'.
Excellent close up on paw with claws.
E - ta - Just imagine how irritating I'm going to be with a macro lens!
I love the way you gave him a little dish for his dinner. Possum food to go - or do you call it take away?
;o)
Lee, sometimes it's a little plate!
