A wee trip ...

... to visit my mum so she could spoil me for my birthday.
So on Sunday we drove down to see my parents, past Tempe Tyres (where we shout "TEMPE TYRES" as we wizz past all the boys, their cars, and the hanger-on chicky babes - I don't know why but it's become a bit of a habit) and stopping off to visit Mr Brown's boat (and tip the water from the "killer storms" off).
Then down to Audley Weir, which had much water but was safe to cross (which it wasn't, apparently, on Saturday). Then through the Royal National Park, full of wide open spaces, trees, rocks and many many wild flowers. As is the mumkin's garden (including big bad banksia men, who are remarkably pretty in their yellow frocks).
And she made me my very own mermaid cake (Mr Brown says I'm spoilt rotten, he may have a point).

Roo - she might, if you make it worth her while!
Cookie, to make you extra jealous I’ll tell you she also made me tiramisu.
Ilva - Botany Bay is a bit dreary now and noisy, it's directly under the flight path of Sydney's international airport!
CAW - if we were French we'd have those saucy accents, how fun would that be - and the croissants, yum!
E - spoiled - well it's good for the person being spoiled, that's for sure - Mr Brown would argue it has set the standard too high and I now expect way too much (but I think I deserve it, just ask my mum ;) )

Whoa, I had no idea y'all spelled "tire" with a Y. What a fascinating place, Australia.

B - Like the Brits, we aim to confuse!
