... well, why not? Mushroom, smokey bacon and semi-hard mozzarella, oh and some of my home grown but frozen basil. I left Mr Brown in charge of the cheese, clearly he got a little over excited.

I find basil totally compromised unless fresh picked, but have never frozen my own.
Does it lose taste, smell ?

that looks beautiful - mmm love a good pizza
H&B - dried basil is indeed complete crap but frozen works well in cooking, keeps most of its basil-ness, I mostly use if in pasta sauces but gave it a whirl on the pizza since the big storms ripped the very last of the fresh stuff to bits.
