This morning ...

Was a good one, despite a slight hangover. The dashing and lovely Mr Brown went to the Farmers Markets at the end of the street and brought back scrummy dainty breakfast pastries from the Croquembouche Patisserie stall. Then he made me coffee in my special plum and butterfly cup and I got the pastries, coffee and newspaper in bed.

Then he went sailing and I put on some CDs, read all of the bits of the paper I’m interested in, fed Ping bits of croissant, loaded up Sven for a little light laundry work and played with the internet.

Oh, it’s the beginning of the month; I’ve popped some more photies on Flickr. I’m particularly happy with my Ping – Bag Inspector series ....

I'm not sure what I'll do with the rest of the day, perhaps cook something lovely for Mr Brown's tea - there's an eggplant glut care of the garden, perhaps something eggplant-y.

And so in the end, what I did was paint my toenails - Rouge Noir.

Aha! I note your updated links list and am most impressed by it.
Do you mind if I put your excellent bloggage on my links thingie?

Your Mr Brown and my B not only have sailing in common, but they also bring tea in bed to their loved ones. A most endearing trait I find.

Altho, I had to make my own toast with marmalade and find the SMH online, but the tea was an excellent start to the day.

What yummy thing did you cook, pray tell? Enquiring minds need to know.

CAW - link away - most civilised & polite of you to ask, I didn't - pillage & plunder, that's me. But only you and now Ms SS read this anyway (oh, and my mum). Dinner? Spag Bol at 10pm as it turned out - it takes HOURS to get on 3 colour coats + a top coat on your toeskis and dry don'tchano!
SS - Yes, no loin fruit in the M&M household - we had my neice stay for just one day and I was a wreck - exhausted and ready for bed the same time as she. I'm sure they have their compensations tho, the cuddles & kisses are nice I'll admit.

ducks - what is the clear (empty) bottle on the RH of the page with Ping Bag Inspector?

The bottle has pink roses on it and I am liking the look of it very much. I wonder if it is a brand of something I could get over here. I loike flahwers.

CAW - that is an empty bottle of Laurance of Margaret River Rose - we fill it with water to top up the iron which we do in the dining room (of course). It is indeed a most beautiful bottle - if you email me your postal (snail-mail) address to work, I'll send you a bottle as a terribly late weddingage gifty - Would you prefer red (red wine) pink (rose) or yellow (white wine) flahwers?
Uggh, I hate that I can't put the little accent over the E.
