... we brought our Pingu home.
To help us celebrate she gave us (well, to be honest me) a little cancer scare.
Last night I was squeezing her meaty little thighs and commenting on what wonderful drumsticks they would make and ... I felt a lump, quite firm and no corresponding one on the other side.
I mentioned this to Mr Brown who agreed a little visit to the vet was in order.
Just to be sure.
And dial up the panic, the worry, the "what ifs" the tears and the rest of it. I'm nothing if not a Drama Mouse.
Mr Brown, cool as a cucumber, was all, "it's just a fatty lump". I'm all "but what if it's NOT?".
It was.
Ping is fine.
Peace of mind reigns once more and, after an egg yolk, Ping forgave us the stress and indignity of a visit to Annandale Veterinary Hospital. So, HUZZAH x 7!
AND her teeth, got an "excellent" from the vet. All this raw meat diet thing is working :)

HUGE relief. I know that dreadful worry so I'm happy for the high that follows the clear diagnosis.
YAY!!!
And sighs of relief are heard all around the world!
;o)
Happy home coming day miss Ping.
So much relief it leaked out my eyes!
I'm so glad my grandkitten passed her health check. She looks quite content, even if she has a leaky mum.

Ma, the leaky is a design fault I think :)
Ms Mouse, not a design flaw - just another indication of your humanity.
Phew..... and sorry for neglecting you for a while, but I blame someone for making me go out and buy all these TinTin books........ ;o) and they are still sooo good!
ooh oooh....the Avatar...how cool is that!
hmmmmmm, maybe have to enter negotiations? I have pens....
Yay, Ms. Ping!
