New pen ...

... not enough to bring me out of my present funk, but it's lightened it a bit.
Think Gatsby Roadster from the Pear Tree Pen Company. O, and if you like nice ink, Noodler's is a good place to start.Highly recommended, pen and company.

OOOOOOOOh new pen.. very smart. Just catching up with Tim Minchin and it made me laugh and spray water over my book (currently it is too early to be awake, but I am so I am multi tasking)

The house looks wonderful, and your mum was right about folding.
The spring flowers are lovely, we are beginning to loose our leaves from the trees now Autumn has set in.

Kumquats in brandy eh... let me know how they turn out, I may have to try and do some for Christmas

The new TV is nice. We had one, and if I knew how much heat they throw out, I wouldn't have gone to the expense of moving and replacing the bloody radiator.

So, I hope the mojo is back, and the pen helped, Hi to Mr Mouser, catch up soon ;o)

This is my favorite pen so far. To me, fountain pens have to come from the 30s. (I know! 20s.)
Love that ink, too.

Very snazzy. And loving the ink!

Cookie, I can't afford those pens :)
The ink, a little like dried blood I think, rather goulish but stylish with it :)
E, I call it my vampire ink!

My parents had some of those pens, forgotten in a shoe box in the garage. I asked for them. They drew a blank. Gone.

Cookie, that's a crime on a par with my mum throwing out her beautiful grey & white T-strap shoes!!!

At least my mom gave me her sexy holoku dress from Hawaii. But she doesn't like to share much.

Cookie, I'll admit mum did give me a few dresses, when I was 15 or so. NO WAY I'd fit into them now *grumbleS*

Right. She gave me the dress because she couldn't fit into it anymore.
Now I probably couldn't either.
Levi's! Yeah!

I remember showing my Mum and Aunt an antique carving set Peter bought me once, to which my Aunt replied "Oh, you should have said, I've just thrown ...(THROWN I add in indignation) 3 sets of those out... we never use them....." GAH!

I have a Mont Blanc fountain pen that needs repairing.. I haven't had the nerve to ask how much yet.....
