I've never heard of a sparkling shiraz, but it sounds very nice.
Must investigate...

And, before you, I had never even heard of weed pie!

Zoomie, weed pie is a version of Spanakopita, not true to recipe because I add all sorts of greens and herbs - weeds :) And, to bulk it up I've been known to add eggplant or fennel or brown rice.
Glad you like the bees - I thought you would.
Lee, I'm not sure if a good Australian one would be available in the US, the wine we sell your way is, for the most part, swill :(
Still, I'm sure your wineries do a version, it's a beautiful colour, full of bubbles and most festive.
Kittens licked the crumbs of the weed pie up last night, naughty, naughty kittens.
