Middle names ...

... I don't have one.
We were so poor when I was born my parents couldn't afford a middle name for me, I'm lucky I got a name at all really.
(Why yes, we did live in a hole in the middle of the road and ate cold gravel for breakfast, if we were lucky!)
However, one of my many log ins at work is MXM.
A young colleague spotted it the other day and asked what the X stood for.
"Xavier" I said, stone serious.
"Really?"
"Yep, and did you know they've taken the word gullible out of the dictionary?"
Gen Y, too easy really.

Heehee, funny! My parents managed to scrape it together to give me a middle name. Jane. Plain Jane... By the time my sister was born, just less than 13 months later, they were obviously in dire situations - she was simply named Joanne. Not me though, I was lucky...

I love that! Devilishly fun. I have no middle name either. My mother figured when I married my maiden name would become my middle name. She didn't count on Women's Lib.

LOL!
My father-in-law and some of his siblings didn't have middle names.
My eldest sister got Ann as her middle name; middle sister got Marie, as did I. But of course I also got two first names - go figure!
:o)

Lee, my sister didn't get one either, but my brother did. It makes you wonder!
Cookie, I have better hair!
Zoomie, perhaps that was Mum's thinking too, I'll have to ask.
Sue, lucky indeed, favoured perhaps ;)
