... Lambfest is organised by Urban Food Market, from where we buy meat, though we haven't tried his lamb yet.
We may get to meet some of my twerps, although we may not recognise them from their avatars.
Lambfest is a seven-course Bultarra Saltbush Lamb Degustation, because we are piggies we've opted for the option with matching wines. Mr Brown will drop the Beautiful Ute off home, feed the furry sharks and get the light rail in, so he isn't arrested driving home!
I'm walking down to the resturant in about an hour, to meet him, have some bubbles and then feast on lovely lambies, seven ways.
I strongly suspect I'll be a little late for work tomorrow, and ever so slightly overhung.
O dear.

How can you go wrong with lamb, wine and Mr. Brown on the menu?
Well, you could go wrong by buggering up the booking and NOT selecting the with wine option.
Thank goodness for flexible traders :)
So how was it? was it salt marsh lamb?
Oh yum Saltbush Lamb. The best.
S, no, Saltbush lamb, it's lambs that graze on the Australian native Old Man Saltbush. Absolutely delish, tender, flavourful. The night was lovely, met some nice people and another virtual friend became flesh, as you say.
M - isn't it just, I'm getting some from the markets on Sunday.
well of course...salt marsh lamb live in Wales (or somewhere near there) silly me. i wonder if we have any salty bushes round here?
Zoomie, let's order some nonlocal saltbush lamb!
oooooh spring baa lamb... can I come next time?
We have a Welsh variant Salt Marsh Lamb, that I have decided I am going to try this year... and damn the cost!
and virtual friend made real eh? .... hmmmmmmm No numpties then?
Cookie & Zoomie, I'm sure you'd have something similar, just a little closer to home :D
Roo, Do, if it's anything like ours it will be wonderful indeed - besides, you can't take it with you your know!
I actually think most lamb in the U.S. comes from Australia and NZ. However, I do have a blog pal to introduce you to (strictly optional, of course) who raises meat lambs in Missouri. She grew up in the neighborhood I currently inhabit. Life is so funny.
