Kittens ,..

... so tiny, I'd forgotten how tiny newbie kittens are, and how much fun.So, we met Ping's little sister. She's adorable and has just the right amount of vim that I think she'll survive Ms Pingu's strong personality.
I said all the right things, Mr Brown did not roll his eyes, and we passed as suitable to buy a kitten.
We met mum, a very calm lady, and dad, very friendly with the most beautiful eyes. We also met almost a dozen aunties, uncles, cousins and goodness knows what else. All beautiful, silky and friendly. This bodes well for the little one's personality. We don't really need a shy and retiring type. Small was, so I guess we'd deal, but still, vivacious is the way to go.
Now, I love cats but 2 is enough for me, and Mr Brown who's first words upon getting into the Ute to drive home were, "jeebers, those cats, all those cats! We're only getting 1, right? ".

Little miracles, aren't they? And when they get tired of playing and come curl up on your lap with their tiny purrings, the heart melts. Lucky, lucky you to be getting a kitten!

Eee! Eee!
They LOOK big enough to bring home. When's the due date?

And maybe you should get a boy this time. They are super delightful, too.

Zoomie, they also dream tiny paw-twitching dreams. Lucky me indeed.
E, o, I think I'll snap a million or so, just a few really.
Cookie, they only just fit in my hands, too wee to take from mummy, who still loves them and snuggles them. Sign, wait I must, actual date not confirmed but before the Easter holidays! Whhhhheeeeeeee.
Zoomie, A BOY?? In my house??? No way, boys stink and have boy germs :)

Well, of course, a boy would have to be altered - then they don't smell. I loved my boys as well as my girls.

Zoomie, we always had boy cats growing up, all were snipped and all still sprayed, the buggrs. Certainly it did not have that special pong only tom cats can produce, but it spraying nonetheless. Although I loved all my big and little brothers, I swore I'd only ever have girl cats of my own.
Mr Brown doesn't mind, he is the top boy in a house of adoring females :)

Adorable!
And I love Mr. B's comment.
Funny, we've almost always adopted females, both dogs and cats...

I have to admit that when my last boy cat went to heaven, the load in the litter box when down by about 2/3 - that guy peed a lot! However, he was never ill-mannered enough to spray in the house. The only one who sprayed was our first Siamese, who was unaltered. The rest got the snip early! :-)

Stomper, O good luck to you on the kitty hunt. Breeders are a speciasl kind of person. We need them for the Siamese (& Other) kittens but my goodness! And remember to post LOADS of pics, you can't go wrong with kitten pics!
