O My!

... Mr Possum brought a little friend for snacks this evening.
Smaller and much shyer than my cheeky friend, she just ran away when I approached with the little steel bowl of apples, carrots and tomato.
Perhaps it was Mrs Possum.

Zoomie, if you'd ever heard courting possums you would understand why that made me laugh out loud.
Cookie - bugger the children, what about the cute-deprived grownups?

I'd read it!
(In a previous life, I illustrated kids' books. Tried writing some, too. And you know me: Not a parent.)

OOOO, what did you illustrate?? I want to look it up and see.
Me - not a parent either, I suspect any kiddy book I wrote would be rejected for too many swears ;)

Pictures, please.

I illustrated utter crap. All out of print, I'm sure. I fired myself for being such a bad artist.

Cookie - at least you WERE an artist. I own wonderful materials I never do anything with!

O there will be pictures, just as soon as she hangs around long enough.
She may be like me though, "NO PICTURES".

Soon you'll be setting up little picnic tables, with little umbrellas. Then, once the word gets out in Possumville, you'll need someone to take reservations - maybe even a burly possum bouncer if things get raucous...
;o)

Lee, you should see the trees out the front of the house during the mating season - possum nightcluborama.
