E, yes, eventually. Then they start up again for a bit in the morning before they fly off for the day. Actually I don't mind so much, but I've heard our bloke neighbour shouting at them to shut up. HA!
In Hawaii, the mynah birds sound loud and raucous like this, although not as screechy. They start up early, early in the morning, too. And here in California, we have mockingbirds, which sing all night long! Luckily, their combination of trills, clicks, squawks and twitters are rather nice to hear when they awaken me in the middle of the night.
E - I've been known to shout at machines to shut up their beeping so, yes, exactly. Cookie,the buggers destroy fruit crops too. They used to raid my apple tree, take a bite out of each one and throw the rest on the lawn. They are very pretty though.

Ohhh i think i would like to hear a Mockingbird sing. we have fruiit bats think they are worse than the cockies.
