Fried Eggs ...

... Mr Brown calls this the fried egg camellia.
They are the heralds of autumn.
Along with their neighbour, the hot pinks.
O noes, he's fallen in the water!

We have a native plant here that is very similar to this and they do look like nothing so much as a bush full of fried eggs!

Hey - we just have fried eggs, then we have plants in the garden that - go on guess - look like flowers!

Weird out there in the bigger world! ;o)

Zoomie, we have a native Australian flowers, wee rounded button of a thing, that looks exactly like a poached egg on a stalk.
Roo, the world is a strange and frightening place, beware!
