... How hot? I hear you ask.
So hot one load of washing is completely crispy dry by the time I'm ready to hang out the next lot!
No chance of running out of pegs then.
I spotted my first blue-banded bee last weekend, and another just a few minutes ago. Summer's here.

In California, we hung laundry out to dry yesterday. It worked pretty well, but it took a long time, and we had to finish by dragging the clothes rack into the house, over a heating vent. Neat wintertime trick for denim.
Cookie, those heating vents are VERY handy indeed come wintertime. And it's dual use of one electricity spend - thrify!
Where in California? Here in LA it's 75 degrees at least. Though at night it's about 50.
E - Cookie & Cranky live in Terra Linda (I just googled it, it's quite near the quaintly named Sleepy Hollow.
OOOh, I just googlemapped directions - it's over 6 hours away. That's a pretty big State you have there.
Of course you could drive from Sydney to Broken Hill in NSW and it would take 14 hours! So we win the bigstatedness contest.
Right, I think I need to get outside for a bit.
For e's edification, we're in San Rafael. Marin County. North of the Golden Gate Bridge. Some areas here actually freeze, but not in my mini-microclimate.
The heating vents and the dryer rack = brills.
O - not where I thought then?
