Morgan is a boy name ...

... apparently.
My parents cursed me with an (at the time) unusual name. Before people saw or met me, the general assumption was I was a boy. School offices sent home blue cards for my Mum to fill out instead of pink ones. When I hear "MORGAN" yelled out in supermarkets, it's inevitably a little boy who turns around (well, him & me).
I still get "oh, I was expecting a man" from people who've left messages for me to call back. Or have been reading something I wrote and want to ask about a question, so get on the 'phone.
I come up with some pretty cheeky responses now, and don't really mind so much anymore (though as a wee girlie it upset me terribly), but still, when I went over to the GenderAnalyzer.com to see what it thought of the dancingmouse blog, it's response cut me to the bone!
"We guess http://dancingmorganmouse.blogspot.com is written by a man (58%), however it's quite gender neutral"
BASTARDS.

Time to give up. Or give in.

I did it: Lucullian 95% female, my portfolio site 95% male. Does this mean I am a bit schizophrenic or that the few words on the portfolio site automatically makes it male? If so, talk about gender stereotypes...

I appear to be 89% female. Nutz. I NEVER talk about sanitary products; what could be giving me away?

My name is Lee so I have similar gender confusion with lots of mail addressed to "Mr."

But the website said my blog was "written by a man (74%)"!!!
That's just so weird!

Well, mine said 54% likely written by a woman, but gender neutral. Well, there you have it.
