While home sick ...

... it often helps if I bundle myself up in a doona and pop myself, and cats, in the sunny room for a snooze. That won't work today, it's pissing down (good for the garden, remember it's good for the garden), grey, gloomy and bloody cold. The girls and I are staying in bed.

So sorry you are still under the weather with the virus/ghastly lurgy!
Hope you feel much better soon.

Lee, most kind, the cats are doing their best to purr me to good health (though I suspect they just like having a warm body to lean on).

Gotta ask - what's a doona? But, whatever it is, you and the cats made the correct choice. In bed is always best, especially with cotton flannel sheets. :-) Feel better soon...

Zoomie, I believe a doona is a comforter, but I can't swear to it.

Ms. Mouse, I wish you a speedy recovery - the cats will no doubt help as much as they can.

See it's too hot where I am. I wish it was pissing down here.

I guess it's like they always say - the grass is always wetter on the other side.

Well, a comforter sounds good, if it’s down filled & floofy and warm as toast underneath then yes. You slip them into covers that match the sheets, it’s not like those delightful satin eiderdowns you see in old movies.
Gatsby, the grass is either wetter or just plain dead and brown! Nevermind, you'll be freezing under snow soon while I wilt in the summer heat.
