In which I am glad ...

... Mr Brown & I aren't depending on the beetroot crop to see us through the winter.
I just harvested the beetroot "crop", or 5 shrivelled, wizened grapes with lots of lovely leaves. Seriously, they look a little like something Ping or Small regularly leave in the litter box, only with some greenery!
Having watched Guru Pete harvesting some monsters last night I was expecting something impressive and have to concede something went terribly wrong in our patch this year.
Sigh, and I had visions of lovely seared 'roo with roasted beets dancing in my head.
Oh, and anybody care to "out" themselves?
Who are all these American visitors?

Let's see...
I'm one of the little red flags in the northeastern U.S. - from the state of Massachusetts.
But I haven't lurked here in ages and ages!
Now somebody else claim a little red flag...
;o)

Well, me, you know. Over on the left coast, about midway up.

And then I'm a little over to the right from the west cost - I'm thinking it's the furthest north of those two flags.

I'm in Southern California - so I'm at the far, far left, probably towards the bottom far left flags. Oh, and E's here too!
