Conspicuous Compassion ...

... A very interesting read, particularly right at the moment.
On a completely different topic, I forgot to pop earrings in this morning, I was wandering about with nekkid earlobes, which I don't like to do. So after lunch (with friends at Chat Thai, mmmm) I popped into a jewellers somehow wandered out with a lovely pair of jade jobbies, like wee green doughnuts with teeny tiny diamonds in the holes. Opps.

Jade? Diamonds? The combo represents the Rolex of earrings LOL. Only you could carry this off with such aplomb!

I cannot have earrings in my ears, it drives me bonkers. In fact, I wear practically no jewellery whatsoever. If I wear more than 3 things at once, I feel like I'm drowning. eg: 1. wedding ring. 2. mother-of-pearl ring. 3. Chairman Mao watch.

That's me .. maxed out on the jewellery front. If I even put a pen in my hair I feel like I'm claustophobicating myself (new word alert!). Therefore, I have to take something off - like the watch. Usually I just wear my wedding ring. Or no jewellery at all. I'm one of the few women I know who bears no piercings or tats or anyfink on one's bod.

Do you think this accident could become a strategy for acquiring other pretty things?!

Lee, it's a ploy I've used on several occasions already and plan to use again, often.
