... Halloween is not traditionally celebrated in Australia*. Which is a great pity because I'd just love an excuse to make this costume! Also, I could make this out of a pumpkin.
* It's starting a bit now but I think that's more of an influence of all the American TV & Movies we see down here. The tiny bits I see seem so faux, so forced, that I just can't bring myself to join in. One day though, I'm going to play Halloween in the US, where it's real.

Halloween is the best holiday ever - you get to dress us and people give you candy. I really don't see a downside. The only unfortunate thing is that it falls on a work day - so, I will rush home, put on my costume (dark fairy), light the candle in the jack-o-lantern, turn on the strobe light and wait for the kiddies to appear.
Yay!

The twins next door, Sinister & Dexter, are VERY excited but the thought of Halloween - I may actually get some lollies to hand over to them should they come a knocking - but not for the nasty little girl who lives at the end of the road, coal for her (or am I mixing up my quasi-religious holidays here).
