And tonight ...
... it rained so hard the gutters overflowed up under the roof and down the dining room wall - Ping alerted us to the disaster, she's worth her weight in puss tins.

With your beloved resting, it's either your job then, or time to call 'Hire a Hubby' to clean those gutters out ;)
Mr Brown is feeling much better he says - thank goodness as I'm not very good at rickety ladders. One day we will learn to clean gutters regularly, or perhaps put in some of those leaf guard doovies.
Sigh.
