... my niece turns 6, happy birthday monster.
Our friends, the Hedonists, move house. So we are cooking them dinner (how could we not, who'd want to cook they day they move?), Coq au Vin, the house smells fantabulistic.
It's quite chilly, but we are warm as toast, doing housework (blerg).
I'm considering sending Mr Brown out to collect firewood, I think it will be the perfect evening for a crackling fire, to go with some mighty fine red wine and good (if tired & sore) friends.
