... what a faborama combo. Last night Mr Brown & I had Cookiecrumb's Pea Tacos for dinner. No pics because they were gobbled up as soon as they came out from under the grill.
I fiddled a little, used fresh peas, lightly caramelised the onions and whacked a bit of bacon on top (it was an evening meal after all). Highly recommended.
Tonight, Mr Brown is in Adelaide, so I'll be eating the huge bunch of asparagus we bought for Saturday and forgot to cook, opski!

Woo-hoo! Glad you gobbled them up happily.
(I used fresh peas also, I just want to add... it being spring and peas being, well, *there*.)
And of course you whacked a bit of bacon on top! I should have, too.
Peas, I must have misunderstood the "english peas" comment and thought they were those mushy peas the Brits eat on their pies.
As for bacon, I don't think there's much that can't be improved with the addition of bacon!
