Probably.
The tone sounds so British though, so I wonder whether the writer (I won't dishonour the profession by calling him a 'journalist') is probably on exchange from the Daily Mail.
Slow news day, maybe? Not enough people being blown up, kidnapped, lying to their constituents, perhaps?
NOT slow news day, that's what makes it worse. There was a train crash in Melbourne and about 10 people died, loads more injured - and the Tele has the waste of air Paris Hilton and a bottom taking up space.
Mr Bear, I suspect you may be right - the exchange chappie.
