... with a friend this morning. After a whirl around the market at the end of the street, we came back for nice hot lattes made by Mr Brown, and cake (home made) and tart (market bought) and chat. A very civilised way to spend a morning.
Oh, I frivolously bought flowers too.
At the market I saw a sign, fresh pomegranate juice $19! Jeebers, perhaps I've found the way to my fortune, pomegranate tycoon of the inner west.

Ok. So here's the plan. We clear fell your garden and plant pomegranites, Ok?
Pomegranate *is* the new .. umm .. whatever was trendy the last time I looked - lychee infused things, I think .....
Anyway, it's the new BLACK, dahlink.
Now you have the challenge of telling people "but I was ALWAYS into them, long before they were trendy !! Sob, sob ! "
;)
What are you waiting for? You will be known as the Pomegranate Magnate, and Rupert and Donald will die of envy.
Hmmm, thank you all for your kind comments. But I think I'll grow just one. Because I know that by the time my clear-felled garden is full of fruitful pomes, they will be the new sun-dried tomato - and I'll be stuck with piles of the buggers. Unable even to give them away!
E - this is why the pessimist’s mug is the mug for me!
