Finally got my hat off the needles and onto my head and started a new project - totally non-hat related. I had to pop into the knitting shop and ask a boffin how to increase before I could start the new project, ended up buying 3 balls of the softest red bebe alpaca wool and some more pointy sticks. This may be a new obsession.

Anniversary ...
... of sorts, a year ago today. sooo soft, as it has to be if it is going to be worn near the skin.
Yessum. And if it gets scratchy, put talcum powder. That's wot me mum sez.
When I was a little girl I'd wear only bebe wool - the kind you knit booties out of - it rather restricted my colour choice but if mum tried to make me wear anything else I fuss & say my skin hurt! I'm tres tres sensitive you know.
