- Went into town to have lunch with work colleagues, for the Melbourne Cup. I had STEAK in a pub, I love steak in a pub, it takes me back to my bebe reporter days when I had to sit through endless Local Council meetings. The pay off was a counter lunch, steak, at the local pub.
- Drank several glasses of Australian Sparkling White Wine.
- Missed the actual race itself - opski.
- Found a new bookshop, Elizabeth's Second-hand Bookshop on Pitt St, most handy.
- Bought some pretty pink & green wool for my next project - another hat - but perhaps a wee bit more fancy this time.
- Painted my toenails pink.
Not a bad day really.
