Bushfires ...

Already, it's only just spring. I can smell the smoke in the breeze. The news says people have died already, homes burned, no mention of wee furry animals & our scaled & feathered friends but I'm guessing they've been hit too.
This looks like the beginning of a very long horribly hot summer.

I made a cheesecake though - Mr Brown got to it before I could take a picture. I'm thinking I'll cover the next one with foil, to prevent over browning. No cracks though, that's pretty good.

How can I mention bushfires & cheesecake in one post? I just can, that's all.
