oooo. The Black Crow - representative of the human shadow as I recall from various readings.
He stands on top of a pommiegranite?
I love PGs too - it is really tempting to eat the seeds tho as I feel quite yucky spitting them out. I havent seen PGs over here but I presume the US imports them from some impoverished Central or South American country.
Did you know rockmelons are called cantelopes over here? I asked for a rockmelon at the local store and the man pointed to the Gardening Section of the store. I think he thought I was asking for a rock garden.
Pomegranates have a very short season over here, they were selling a month or so ago at the Norton St Grocer but were very expensive and, given I used to grow them in canberra, I couldn't bring myself to pay. I may plant another tree, you can get small ones that grow full-sized fruit. The flowers are beautiful, sort of red crepe.
Narnies have reached the dizzy price of $13 per kilo - Mr Brown is allowed 3 a week only - as a special treat if he does the washing up every day! You should try to grow the pomms - a rather pretty (if spikey) tree that looks nice in flower and in fruit!

Oooo, they are growable by one's self? I didn't know that. I just noticed that I spelled it "Pommiegranite" - oh my, I must be very tired!
