If I can't buy bananas? 95% of Australia's crop has been destroyed in the recent cyclone & I'm not sure the household can cope if we can't get no bananas! We won't be able to make banana muffins willy-nilly-at-the-drop-of-a-hat, that's for sure!

Blimey, that's a bit rough. Can you make narna muffins with (gasp) dried banana??
Or suddenly become incredibly interested in pumkin scones or muffins made with something which is not from the tropical north??
I have 2 count them 2 books on muffins so there are many non-tropical alternatives - but Mr Brown is a big fan of the narni & all things narni - he's in for a rough season!
Ohhh, I'd hate for him to do that, I'll wean him onto apricot & almond muffins just to be sure!
