Spotted this little fellow ...

... in the Curry Leaf Tree the other day.A garden guest of the order Mantodea. He, or she, was just hanging out, hunting I presume, amongst the curry berries (which, serendipitously enough, will turn the same pink as his/her eyes later in the season). In other garden news, the backyard maple is making babies. The saucy minx.

I sometimes wonder how big your yard can possibly be! All that growth-age. Wonderful.
Are the curry leaves... well, are they culinary curry leaves?

Cookie, it's thing and long, and absolutely STUFFED to the gills with too much growth-age.
They are indeed, culinary curry leaves - I pick 'em fresh to bung in the curry cooking :)

Will your praying mantis be after the tadpoles? I'm with Cookiecrumb - continually amazed by the fecundity of your garden. You must have green thumbs.

oomie, I don't think he'll be after the taddies, I don't think they like to get their feet wet.
If the garden is in any way fecund, it's because we don't spray poison and we are liberal with our application of cow & chook poo!
