... the steak bigger than the Loch Ness Monster?Well we cooked it last night (well, I did all the prep, issued complex instructions, made the side dishes and and plated up, Mr Brown actually stood outside in the cold & damp hovering over the bbq).It was bathed in an emulsion of extra virgin olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper and rosemary from the night before.
Then it was taken outside and cooked carefully, on the bbq, atop a bed of rosemary stalks. Then it was eaten, slowly, reverently with some Parmesan mash (because you're going to die of something it may as well be fatty degeneration of the heart) and a green salad.
It was wonderful, and the leftovers, the smaller side of the T-bone, will be used tonight. Perhaps as a beef salad, perhaps muddled with some lentils in a sort-of cottage pie. Unless, of course, I slice it thinly and eat it between two slices of sourdough bread this very afternoon, before Mr Brown gets back from attending to the othe woman (the boat).

Omigosh, that looks delish! And the smaller side will be the best, I guarantee!
YUM
there was leftover?
Zoomie, that bit is now making a shepherd's pie!
Lee, Yep!
S, it was a fucking dinosaur steak, of course there was left over :)
Salad?!? Salad? How did salad get into this meaty, mashy joy?
No, seriously, the steak looks fantastic.
Mouth watering now.
Uli, we had to at least pretend to be eating healthy! :)
