... a little bird told me a gift of beds (too many dollies not enough places to sleep) and a bathroom (no where to wash! Gasp) for her doll house would be most acceptable.
So I trawled the interwebs for such items, coming across the sort of thing I'd only buy after a massive lottery win, and even then I'd think twice about it.
After much emailing with the little bird, and obsessive, possibly even dangerous googling, a couple of nice wooden bunk beds and a full bathroom set were found, purchased, packed and delivered(in time!).
I'm told it was well, nay gleefully, received and all bits have taken their place in the doll house in question.
I asked my sister, the little bird as it happens, for proof, specific proof, proof of the nature that made her feel "like a peeping tom".
Still, she obliged and I'm glad.

Wow! I had no idea that they made bathroom fixtures for doll houses. This is obviously an improvement on the doll houses of my youth. SO cool.
Ro, "fixtures" may be pushing the envelope, there's no actal plumbing involved :)
I certainly had nothing like it for my dolls house.
You are a most excellent Auntie!
So glad #1 niece was delighted!
I followed the link to the "only after a lottery win". The detail was amazing! Makes one wish to become Lilliputian and redo the whole house!
;o)

Too cool!
My late MIL used to find such things in the most obscure catalogs all the time. I know my eldest neice still has the dollhouse and little furniture she received over 30 years ago. Her daughter plays with it now.
You also have one lucky neice.
I really, really like that expensive bed you linked to.
Your gift to your niece is darlin' sweet! Good auntie.
(I feel like a peeing tom.)
You know folks, I want one of those little (violently expensive) wee beds of my very own, only my size, and I don't want to share it, not with Mr Brown or Ping or Tigger or anyone!
Cookie, we are ALL peeping toms :)
I say get the little bed for your mouse mascot!
Yes we are, but I took the picture (blush)
..tho it wasn't ME who publish her on the web!
S, the only thing missing was a tiny pair of knickers around her ankles;)
No, Mouse, I said PEEING tom. :D
Cookie, ooo, you did too, smarty :)
