Folk are going on about Winter's beginning ...

... but Winter doesn't start, in my book, until the Solstice, 21 June!
I guess this makes me an autumn bebe rather than a winter one.
Still, day one of my birthday month, and it begins well, lunch with a friend down the road a bit.

What an upside-down world you live in! : )

Summer begins for us on June 21st. And it's still Monday here. So I guess I'm posting about something you haven't written yet in my time zone. How cool is that? Or maybe just confusing. : D

Ro, time travel is what it is!
Lee, they were going on about it being the first day of winter on the radio this morning. Mr Brown and I had to toss off the doona last night and open the window wide, so HOT it was! Roll on winter PLEASE!

First off, love the new wintery look to your blog.
When a college classmate took a year in NZ,she left in early spring and came back in late fall. She never experienced summer that year due to the reversal of seasons down under. And for a horticulturist, spring through fall are the best seasons!

S - well, still sleeping with most of us not under covers, to it's bloody-well not winter here either *grumph*
Susan, ta, I like it better than the last one, I never quite warmed to those red, orange and green mice.
Spring & Autumn, much better than Summer MUCH.
Cookie, day 1, bought some pretty plates and booked a spa treat :)
