... the romping and wrestling got to be too much, we had to evict both cats from the bedroom.
To do this we chase them down the hall and then quickly shut the hall door, locking them down that end of the house. Don't feel too sorry for the little beasts, there are plenty of soft, warm places to sleep and toys aplenty.
Not enough toys, though, it would seem, for young Tigger.
Tigger has worked out how to open the tiny drawers on this odd little cabinet. I stuff bits and bobs in these drawers. Old collars, foreign coins, buttons, tassels, little baggies of beads, bits of paper marked with the names of my enemies.
Tigger opens these drawers by pulling on theh little handle dangles and fishes out the things inside. She then leaves those things all over the house, to be found with bare feet the next morning.
Of course, if the wresting in our bed isn't too bad, and we let them stay, Tigger steals Mr Brown's spare change, collar stays and cufflinks.
She's the stealiest cat we've ever had, the minx, and is now referred to as the masked bandit!

It's hilarious what you don't know yet about your young'uns. We just found out Bartlett thinks she should swipe the tasseled pillow off the bench, and nibble on the tassels. Two times. So far, OK, but we're on Achtung watch now.
Maybe you should have called her Slinky Malinki. He came to a bad end though, there was knitting and glue involved.
Cookie, she's so naughty but so cute, but so bad, but so adorable, but so wicked, but so lovely ...
Naughty Bartlett, cute Bartlett *sigh*
Stomper, we actually call Pingu Slinky Malinky but that's because she's terribly slinky :)
What fun that she has figured out the drawers - you should leave her little treats or catnip mice in the drawers to keep her busy all night long!
No Zoomie, this is not something we want to encourage, she'll be opening the fridge and helping herself to the prosciutto next (she already does from the plate)
You are right Stomper Girl..but Slinky Malinki was blacker than black!
Adorable. But naughty. But hilarious. But maddening. But...
Whoa!
Don't let Tigger near the computer. She'll be broadcasting podcasts to all the felines on how to do such things!
;o)
Lee, she spends half the night on my laptop keyboard, thank goodness she hasn't worked out how to type yet!
