... Pingu's a bit of an obsessive licker, she's constantly washing. This is why she's the cleanest cat in the inner west.
The arrival of Miss Tigger has simply given Ping something else to wash. Mostly Tigger does not object. While I was taking these photographs (on our unmade, sheet-free bed as it happens) I could hear the Tigger-purrs from across the room.

I have never before thought to ask what kind of cat Ping is? She has very pretty markings, like the palest of orange marmalade markings, only not really.
They're so perfect!
Well Zoomie, Pingu is a lilac-spot oriental tabby cat. Basically a siamese body with tabby markings. Her markings are slowly blending in with age. Of course, she's too plump now to be mistaken for oriental but I think people must starve their kitties to keep them all long and thin like the "ideal".
E - I think so too :)
Both are such elegant felines - one can tell from the photos how soft their fur is. I miss that about not currently having a cat - the pleasure of their fur, both the touch and the wonderful smell of cat fur. Burying my nose in a cat's fur is the essence of "comfort smell" to me.
Zoomie, absolutely spot on about the smell of cats. Mr Brown puts it thus, "Ping stinks good".
Zoomie, spot on re soft furs too :) Esp the bit just behind the ears, like silk velvet.
So beautiful
And Tigger is really growing up!
Lee, we see her every day so don't notice the growing so much but I think she's a little bigger!
