Ha, that will teach you... I have so many books that I have bought, thinking, ooh new book from so and so, only to find it's a book I have with a different jacket... darn!
I do have a friend that drunk orders, then finds himself with Scandinavian thrillers in Swedish/Norwegian/Danish.. neither of which he speaks... hey ho ;o)
I have loved all the MFK Fisher I have read - so delightful and engaging!
Ditto what Zoomie said about donating to your library. Or your nearest women's shelter or high school or mobile library or hospital or nursing home It would cost you less money and you would be cheered in the doing! ;o) - Lee
Oh, that's fun! Bookcrossing has formalized something I've done for years, leaving books on the BART train or balanced on a post box when I've finished them and don't want to keep them but can't bear to just throw them away! I trade books with my cousins and friends who have eclectic tastes in literature - that's fun, too.
Lee - there is a link to book crossing on LLWW if you haven't found it already. I have yet to release one into the wild, but I think that has more to do with the fact that I don't take public transport enough.
I've been releasing books into the wild for years - I've got the stamp and every thing, even little plastic bookcrossing bags for rainy days. It's the best way to cull when space gets too damn tight and your husand simply refuses to build you anymore bookshelves!

Wha? what did I miss?
Free book givaway, because I drunk ordered on Amazon.com!
I'd jump at the chance but it would cost you too much to mail it to me. You could donate it to your public library?

Ok, consider it released into the wild ala BookCrossing.com
Roo, I know what you mean!
I had never heard of BookCrossing before this - much more of an adventure than my suggestions.
