A local designer, Elise, just on Norton Street. I've passed the shop dozens of times, more, to or from somewhere, but never dropped in.
Today I passed on the way to and back the movies, Where the Wild Things Are (furry good), it was the last day it was on at Palace and Mr Brown kept pulling faces whenever I suggested it.
I should have dropped in sooner, it's full of lovely, wearable, pretty frocks, some even fit a mouse with boobs. Apparently Elise sources her fabrics from Vietnam and only makes about 20 of any given frock. So, the likelihood of bumping into another wearing the same thing is quite small indeed, I kind of like that. So now, of course, I'm wishing I'd bought the beautiful, bias-cut, cream silk number, with the brown spots. It was on sale and everything!Curses, she's closed Mondays.
EDITED TO ADD - and if my mum chimes in with a "I could have made them for you" I'm beating her over the head with a stick!

Kim, ta. I'm pleased/
S, sure, there's eleventy million to choose from.
Like you, I enjoy knowing that I won't see myself coming and going when I buy a new outfit. What a great find!
Now all you need (NEED, not want) are shoes and bags to match...
So darn pretty. I wish I was girly enough to wear them.
Nice! I bet they look beautiful on.
Ditto on lovely!
And a big ditto on Roo's recommendation!
Enjoy!

Thank you all, and yes, at least 1 (the last one) must look ok on because I've been extravagantly complimented on it this very day by a work mate.
Roo - shoes, hmmm, it I bought new shoes I'd have to throw some old ones out, I'm rapidly running out of room. Besides, I found some cute brown Campers at the back of a shoe shelf this morning, I'd forgotten about them.
They look fantastic - nice shopping!
Uli, ta, and so far I've worn 3 and all have been quite happy making.
