... the new "authorised by the estate" Winnie the Pooh book.
It won't be the same, it will be twee crap, and I would be cross with myself for wasting life reading a bad book.
I once made the mistake of reading a "sequel" to Wind in the Willows. A major disappointment, a mistake I will not repeat.

OMG. I couldn't agree more. I couldn't BEAR to read a twee, crappy knockoff of my Pooh. (That wasn't a bear pun, by the way. Maybe it was.)
AND... (ready?) (ready?)... I read that horrible Wind in the Willows drivel sequel too! Ptooey! Still can't get the bad taste out of my mouth, and that was a long time ago.
o Cookie, wasn't it TERRIBLE? So very, very bad I could not believe it. So bad in fact that I no longer own the book, released to the wild years ago.
Oh, me too. Out of the damn house. I still see the tragic cover artwork in my head for some reason. Help.
I just keep remembering the criket match for some reason, bah! The damage bad books can do.
