Tonight I came home fully intending ...

... to make a Fennel & Broad Bean Tart for dinner (using my own pastry of course). I bought fennel bulbs at lunch time, I picked the beans from the garden as soon as I got home. They sit in a bowl, podded, ready.
But you see, the washing up was not done last night, as it should have been. The sinks are full and my tiny bit of bench space is cluttered.
I'm being firm about this, no cooking if the dishes aren't done.
I'm hungry.
