... we went here for dinner. With many, many Australian sailors.
The food was wonderful (I went with steamed mussels followed by jumbo "shrimp" stuffed with crab meat), the wine was WAY too plentiful and I'm seriously in need of a night off from the fleet. They fair wear me out and give me a headache in the morning.
I used to be able to keep up, back in the day when I followed Mr Brown about the country. But I was in my 20s then.
I'm too old for this shit, as the saying goes.

Yes, but how do the sailors survive all the carousing?
Drink lots of water throughout the day and be good to yourself!
;o)

I don't care how they are, I hope they suffer.
Ooo, Mr Brown just rang, sailing's been cancelled, probably too many hungover sailors ;)
Or too much or not enough wind ...
TOO much wind it turned out.
The restaurant looks lovely - did you get to sit outdoors?
Very nice. A gaggle of Australian sailors, you say? Sounds like a rousing good time!
Zoomie, we did sit outside, it was a lovely balmy night.
E - all they do is talk sailing - which is fine if you are a sailor or a fan of sailing or young and courting and pretending you care :) I'm none of those of course.
