... yes, I know I was intending to search New York high and low for the perfect pair of jeans. A pair of jean that would accommodate my "womanly" bottom without gaping at the waist, without requiring a belt just to keep them up. Folk assured me this would be possible in the US.
But then, I tried on a pair, at lunchtime, while I was supposed to be shopping for pink salt.
They fit, I'm wearing them now while sitting down! They are comfortable and don't cut in and don't bag either. I am happy.
Also, they were made in Australia, and you can't say that about much these days.
And yes, I'll still try on a pair or two in NY, I just won't be in a mad panic to find a pair is all.

Great news about the jeans. You'd have been disappointed with US jeans... I wear mens' Levi's and they either slide down (depending on my diet) or hike up. And even so, nothing else will do. I need some AU jeans.

I would be beside myself with excitement in anticipation of such a trip. Yet you have been able to keep all these work, shopping, planning, packing & coordinating plates spinning - Brava!
