... My absolute favourite punishment at school was helping the Librarian. Yep, they sent ME to the Library to help put those little pockets in the books and such like. I was in heaven, and the fools had no idea! Says rather a lot about the school in question does it not, the library as a punishment?
So, I liked the idea of the personal library kit when I came across it.
However, each kit is for 20 books and it's priced at $20 per kit. That's a dollar a book, more if you take the exchange rate into account, about $1.20(ish) at recent exchange rates.
At that rate I'd be spending thousands, particularly when you consider my entire collection has yet to be LibraryThing-ed.
*wonders if Mr Flare does bulk discounts*

I think it's a clever idea.
And after what happened to my Mom a needed one. She asked after a book she had loaned a neighbor some weeks before. The woman said: "Oh, you wanted that back? I gave it away." without so much as an apology!!!
I bet you could make your own quite easily in Photoshop or the like.

Lee, REALLY?? The absolute Cheek - I only lend books to a trusted few and even they are left in no doubt that I'm not giving them the book.
I'm with you DMM! I bought these library cards and envelopes (I know!) from etsy here.
And they have lots of other fun papery things.
