So ...

... thanks for all the kind words and virtual hugs, Mr Brown basks in international, as well as local, love.
The funeral is Friday. The sisters argue, constantly, they call Mr Brown to referee, constantly. It's exhausting just witnessing it.
We are driving back to Canberra tomorrow afternoon to, I don't know, do ... stuff.
I've booked accommodation but can't remember if there will be intertubes. This may be it until the weekend.

The sisters being Dexter and Sinister? Well, of course they call and argue and expect Mr. Brown to referee.

Hang in there luvvies, you'll get through it all.

I am sorry to hear this.

Families show their best and their worst at times like these. Recommend a deep breath, lots of snuggling time for you and Mr. Brown, and a stiff drink.

I wouldn't know what to do.
I hope it all goes well.

Zoomie is right - on all counts!

Following your hearts and doing everything you know is right during this period is all that you can do. Mercifully, the exhaustion inducing antics of others truly fade into irrelevance with time.

Sending lots more love and hugs to you and Mr. Brown as part of the far flung international contingent.

E, yes, that's them.
Ilva, thank you.
Zoomie, yes, a stiff drink was finally had, with a lovely sister-in-law (my brother's wife) who just happened to be in town.
Cookie, I know what I WANT to do, but have been forbidden.
Lee, trouble is my heart tells me to slap them both silly. My brains says no though.
Breathing deeply...accepting all virtual hugs
xx to all
