O noes, Pingu ...

.... M, from over at EasternMax asked me a question this evening about the #gopingu pedometer experiment I've got going over on Twitter.
She asked if Pingu was doing her 10,000 steps a day?
She's supposed to be doing 10,000 A DAY???A bit of Googling confirms this is indeed the goal.
BUT, but, but, she's only little and the bloody thing only clicks when she gallops, not when she just slinks around the house.
I feel terrible, like I set her up to fail.
The counter comes off tonight with a highly-respectable 3558 dainty, pink toe-padded steps.

poor baby!

I know there were plenty more steps than that. Cats don't fail unless they want to :)

Oh noes! Don't stop now! Little paws can only take little steps so I say 1000 steps a day is plenty. Unless of course she'd rather sleep.

Start again, this time with feeling.

Where have I been to miss so many posts of yours??? The cad is indeed a cad, my sympathies for missing Jon Stewart who is in my opinion a national treasure, and I think Ping must have made all 10K steps if she had that big a number only recorded when she runs! And, you're right, coffee isn't coffee without rich milk or cream.

You know how there are dog years and human years? Well, there must be cat steps vs. human steps. Plus you have the factor of two - four paws vs. two feet!

Pingu is just dandy - and remarkably patient with her human housemates!

Pingu thanks you all for the kind words but declines to cooperate further. She is a CAT afterall.
Cookie, exactly, I suspect NONE of them work properly.

O, & Zoomie, I found a way to watch Mr S, so all is wall with the world.

Wait. Was _I_ supposed to take the 10,000 steps while wearing the pedometer?

Cookie, I suspect so - which is why I tried to get Ping to do at least some of the stepping for me!
