... This afternoon I was cooking 2 dinners. One for tonight (cinnamon lamb) and one for tomorrow (dad's birthday dinner, so I won't say, just in cases).
So, I burned all the fingertips on my left hand picking up a metal bowl full of par-cooked vegetables. I stabbed myself, slightly, chopping up leeks. I somehow, don't ask, got a bit of carrot in my eye and, to top it all off, trod in something unidentified but unspeakable on popping outside to fetch a couple of bay leaves.
I think it's time Mr Brown took over the cooking duties.

You poor thing!
Would a good night's rest (or several) be of any help?
Do be careful...
And Happy Birthday to Miss Morgan's Dad!
;o)

Oh.
I just read further.
You never should have ratted out Myrtleford!
I think she's responsible for the problems in the kitchen...
That Myrtleford, she's responsible for A LOT round these parts.
I laughed - sorry - all you needed to do was walk into an open cupboard door, oh, and drop a dish ;o)
Roo - cruel, cruel man.
And I've done both, just not on that particular day. I've also stood up quickly and brained myself on a shelf!
Ouch - done it myself, doesn't the crown of your head hurt for hours afterwards!
Roo - made me weep like a little girl it did!
