Sunday Soup ...

... Hearty Red Lentil & Preserved Lemon Soup.
The cooking smells are fantastic with this one. It's wonderfully thick, more like a stew, so we had it with Roti.

Yum sounding soup - We had blinis with sour cream and prawns, then cheese and red wine.. I may wake with bad dreams, but it was nice ;o)

I'm going to make a 3 beans stew with Mergueze sausage, as Peter is away for a couple of nights - the last of the big food before spring and summer salads

we had an organic lamb soup with a bit of moroccan feel - lentils, chickpeas, ripe tomatoes, cinnamon and fresh corriander. we will miss out on soup this weekend cause we will be away, but that makes it my pick the week after and i might just do this one. x

Roo, are you not allowed beans when the beloved is away? LOVE the sound of the blinis, one of our special treats is blini with sour cream and salmon eggs - at the Boathouse, there must be reason for us to go back there soon!
S, this one was quite Moroccan, and with less liquid would make a wonderful side dish for lamb.

Morgan - I know what you mean about the bean thing - it's more that I can make it and eat the same thing for three days ;o)

Roo - I'm far too fickle to eat the same thing for 3 days, unless it's smoked salmon, then I'd manage :)
