... and broken bits of herself.
The ankle and foot bits as it happens. Thank goodness, because for an older lady, to fall and break one's hip would be SUCH a cliche!
Anyhoo, we're off to pat her hand and stroke her fevered brow until the male parental unit returns from a fishing trip.
Perhaps we can get some of that fancy cat food on the way!

Get well wishes to your Mum - what a bummer!
you are so the favourite! jesus i only find out by reading your blog!!!
Sending love, hugs, ice packs and chicken soup your Mum's way!
Wait.
That sounds messy.
How about a cheery "Feel better soon!" from someone very far away!
Go be a good daughter...
;o)

P.S. Oh S, as the youngest of three sisters, our Mom always loves someone best!
Zoomie, bummer indeed.
S, she called me because we were going down for lunch anyway and I live closer and am not heavy with child! We are ALL her favourite, dafty.
Lee, we had roasted lamb, better than soup! And I gave her a nice pat on the head and a jolly good talking to about the climbing of ladders and how it's not to happen again.
All my best to your mom!
Wishing your mum a speedy recovery...
Oh, dear! She is indeed lucky it wasn't her hip.
Best wishes.
I shall pass on all these international best wishes, should give her a bit of a cheerup indeed.
